Great escape from the city!
Reviewed by Jordan, 2007-07-10 I am from St. Lous. I had business to attend to in Rockford and was looking for a place to stay, outside the busy city. I happened upon the perfect getaway in a beautiful country town. The Chateau Lodge was perfect for a city guy, such as myself. The rooms were each uniquely renovated and had their own themes. I stayed in the 'hunting' room. The staff was very friendly, and I enjoyed every minute of my stay! The next time I have business in that part of Illinois, I will definately stay there again!
