Come to historic Grand Detour in Ogle County and experience the Great Getaway Package at the Colonial Rose Inn. Visit our website and click on Bed and Breakfast to find the package info. This 4-bedroom 1855 bed and breakfast also has a wonderful fine dining full service restaurant, open Wednesdays through Saturdays, 5 pm to 9 pm. For $190 (all taxes included) the package includes: 1. A bottle of house wine and fruit and cheese tray in your room upon arrival 2. Dinner for 2 in our restaurant (anything on the menu, excluding alcohol and gratuity) 3. Overnight stay in our Bed and Breakfast 4. Breakfast for 2 the next morning. Package reservations are only taken on days the restaurant is open! |

COLONIAL ROSE INN
Reviewed by GORDON STANLEY, 2008-04-27 THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INN'S I HAVE FOUND. THE OWNER IS THE CHEF AND THE FOOD HE PUTS ON THE TABLE IS AS GOOD AND ANY RESTAURANT I HAVE FOUND. THE ROOMS ARE QUAINT AND THE BEDS ARE WONDERFUL.
