"Market Street Commons” is located downtown, in the heart of the Mount Carroll historic district, in the old Kraft Building. This building welcomes visitors & prospective businesses to this unique community where brick streets and country charm create a hometown atmosphere.  The Kraft Building recently re-opened following an extensive renovation where it literally rose from the ashes of a fire that damaged it a few years ago. The building will house the community Welcome Center, Community Development organizations and the Chamber of Commerce along with business friendly office and retail space ready to set up.
