I am from St. Lous. I had business to attend to in Rockford and was looking for a place to stay, outside the busy city. I happened upon the perfect getaway in a beautiful country town. The Chateau Lodge was perfect for a city guy, such as myself. The rooms were each uniquely renovated and had their own themes. I stayed in the 'hunting' room. The staff was very friendly, and I enjoyed every minute of my stay! The next time I have business in that part of Illinois, I will definately stay there again!

We felt right at home. The rooms are very interesting. You have done an awesome job with the renovations. You feel like you have a different vacation each time you come! A nice place to get asway from the hustle and bustle.

I had stayed at the Lodge before the current owners purchased it and I was not too happy as it was not too clean and the man that owned it was, I'll just say, he was not right. This trip I decided to try the Lodge again. My room was immaculate and really cute. I stayed in the Garden Room and the Manager went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. I am so glad that I decided to try the Lodge again. I will stay here again.
