Travel to Oregon and arrive at Conover Square Mall, a historic piano factory converted into a shopping experience featuring a variety of eclectic specialty shops

Wander through Conover Square Mall where you will find The Cook’s Collection, a fun gourmet accessory shop that is full of kitchen gadgets, cooking and home decorating accessories along with homemade fudge and other delightful candies to choose from.  Then enjoy a Frozen Hot Chocolate or a great cup of coffee at Conover’s Coffee & Chocolates as you select from the wonderful variety of chocolates and gift items.

Travel to Grand Detour and arrive at John Deere Historic Site

Visit John Deere’s restored pioneer home and special archaeological exhibit of the original blacksmith shop.  This historic site also features a working blacksmith shop, visitor center and gift shop featuring specialty chocolates & fudge.

Travel beautiful Route 2 through Dixon and on to Sterling-Rock Falls (allow approx. 45 minutes)

Check into the Holiday Inn of Rock Falls.  Take this time to relax or refresh before the evening meal.  Be sure to take advantage of the indoor heated pool, game room and exercise facility.

                                    The evening meal will be left to the group’s preference of restaurants.  There are several restaurants within the area of the Holiday Inn that the group may choose from: Bennigan’s Grill (located with the Holiday Inn), Red Apple Family Restaurant, and Candlelight Inn to name a few. 

Wake up to the Continental Breakfast provided by the Holiday Inn.

             Travel to Rock Falls  to Selmi's, 1206 Dixon Ave, Rock Falls 

                                    Continue your chocolate experience at Selmi's Floral & Gifts. Choose from a wonderful assortment of chocolates and gourmet food mixes along with gift & floral items for all of life’s celebrations.

                                    Relax and enjoy a delightful lunch at Muffins & More, located inside Behren’s Country Village.  The farm atmosphere, hospitality and many chocolate offerings will be sure to add to the meal.  Afterwards wander through their many specialty shops that offer great gift items.

                                    Depart for home!
