The Rochelle Railroad Park & Visitor Center is a "must see" for railroading fans young and old. With over 80 trains per day, its an ideal spot for train watching. Raised platform allows viewers to experience and photograph two Class One rail lines crossing at the "diamond". Tune your radio to 106.9 FM to listen to radio transmissions from dispatchers to locomotive engineers. The gift shop sells merchandise from Railroad Relics which includes items such as railroad timetables, dining car china, engineer data books, logoed items, books, commemorative spikes, railroad employee clothing, model train items, and many more railroad related items. Also available for sale are “Atlas” O; N & HO gauge trains. They also have an active ATCS display which shows locations of trains in the area so you can be ready for their arrival.
